My name is Laura Chrisman, and I offer copy editing and proofreading services. My projects begin as unformed clay on a potter's wheel. With skillful crafting and a delicate touch, the clay is worked and molded until it is transformed into a unique creation expressing the artist's vision.
My Story
I was raised in a small town once known for textile production and the railroad. Growing up in an area surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains allowed my imagination to thrive.
For as long as I can remember, books have been a core feature of my identity. My passion ignited the day I learned how to string letters together to form words. If words were in my sight, I read them. The flame burns brightly and strongly to this day. I am a fierce advocate for the right to read anything and everything----and also the Oxford comma.
My ideal career involves being paid to read all day while stimulating my mind and giving me the opportunity to learn something new.
